My Vocation,
Since my childhood I always wanted to become a nun and go to the missions, even though I was not aware what it meant, but in my heart always had that desire. The desire to become a nun was very strong but I had no idea as which congregation to join.
I used to go everyday for Holy Eucharist with one of my friends, and later both of us joined the same Congregation and went to the missions in India. We were very active in different youth programs and seminars. The teacher who thought us Catechism used to take us to different convents for some experiences. By the Providential love of God one day when I visited the Nuzzo Institute at Hamrun Malta, the love of Jesus touched my heart through my friend Glades to make my decision to join the DSH Congregation.
At the age of fifteen, I joined the Novitiate and soon after my first profession I was sent to India as a missionary as my heart always desired and longed for, to serve the poor and the unwanted.
For 33 years I worked with the unfortunate children, from birth till they were able to stand on their own feet, educated them and give them some courses so that they will be able to earn their living, and after we help them to choose their vocation, today many are married, others joined a congregation, and some joined our own DSH Congregation. Many new born babies came to us at the point of death, we baptized them and died, so I am sure they are in Heaven, praying for us. We had many small kids, so we started to find families who can look after these poor kids and give them better future, so we started sending them for Adoption, in India and in many parts of the world. I am happy to say that ninety five per cent, are happy. Praise God.
My work with poor and sick people was very dear to me, and I did all my best to help all those who came to my help where ever I was.
Throughout these years I was always happy, and I never regret that I am a Nun. I thank and Praise God for being so good to me and choose me to be for Him and work in His vineyard.
THANK YOU MY JESUS.
