As Daughters of the Sacred Heart, having first experienced the love of God, we live in love in simplicity and humility in our daily lives, particularly in acts of charity to the people.

The different ways in which we live our charism today, in different countries are through physical, psychological and spiritual care of children and adults. These are expressed through education in schools, catechesis of children and adolescents for the Sacraments of the Eucharist and Confirmation. We take care of children in child-care centres, and in child homes. We are engaged in the formation of adolescents and adults in the Christian life, and we also lead groups of Lay Associates. 

In developing countries, we are involved in health care in clinics. We are also in preventive health care; helping people to prevent diseases and to live a better life. They take care of street-children, and are in prison ministry. 

We are involved in pastoral care in the local churches: giving the Eucharist in the church, and to the sick and the elderly in their homes. We make visits to families, pray with them, and accompany people in spiritual direction.
