On 27 th May 2025, a new episode began in the history of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Sacred Heart—a new beginning rooted in the same love that animated our Foundress Mother Maria Teresa Nuzzo to answer the need of her time by teaching life skills to the women and children thus empowering them to live a dignified life. A renewed mission: to deepen our outreach, to  widen the circle of compassion, and to sustain our works of love and justice through purposeful giving and generous partnership. With the help of SRG President Dr. Glenda and her team, we launched the new PDO office in the Generalate, Malta. We began with the holy mass, followed by the Blessing of the office and launching. Many sisters, benefactors, and well- wishers were present to witness the launching. May the Heart of Jesus bless this venture and enable us to sustain the mission we have begun with His grace.

The Philanthropic Development Office of Maria Teresa Nuzzo believes that every individual deserves to live with dignity. In today's world, we are confronted with crises in various areas, including poverty, ignorance, inequality, the erosion of family values, limited access to healthcare and preventive services, and environmental degradation. To address these issues, we offer comprehensive education and scholarship programs, pastoral social services, shelter for the vulnerable and homeless, initiatives for youth development, access to healthcare, family support, and care for our shared environment. With dedication and empathy, we strive to enhance, equip, and empower our human capital through our mission of charity, characterized by simplicity and humility, enabling us to effectively serve and promote holistic and integral development for humanity, ultimately working towards a better world.
