On the 13 th of October 2024 the Province of Malta was all in jubilation celebrating the final profession of Sr Margaret Barnabas, our first Pakistani Sister!!! It was a vibrant celebration with a good presence of Pakistani families among whom Sr Margaret witnessed the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The choir added to the spiritual experience by their angelic female and male voices.

After so many years without celebrating either first or final profession, the Province of Malta was bold enough to venture in welcoming international vocations from all over the globe. Young women are searching to answer the Lord’s calling in an out of the traditional way. The world has indeed become one whole parish. Internet has revolutionized even the way young people seek to decide for their future. This new phenomenon is revitalizing the province of Malta in transforming it into an International Province. Young people are surfing the internet, coming across our Congregation and start communication and exploring possibilities.

Praise the Lord. Sr Margaret Barnabas initialized this venture. May the Lord accompany her in all the plans and new horizons He has in store for her. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be honoured and praised all over the world. We augur Sr Margaret a holy life consecrated to the Heart of Jesus, her Lover. May the Heart of Jesus be praised, loved and honoured through more holy vocations all over the world.
