Every 11th day of the month, an Adoration is held in different Parish Churches on the island. In October, the Adoration followed by Mass was held in the Parish Church of Santa Venera.

It was started some years ago, to celebrate, and honour the Servant of God, Mother Maria Teresa Nuzzo, and also, to pray for the process for her sainthood. 

The 11th day is to remind us Sisters, Daughters of the Sacred Heart, of her birth day on the 11th May, 1851. A group of lay persons support us, and pray for this cause, while in different parishes, more people get to know our Foundress, and pray to her intercession.
