Sr Victoria Sant from Mellieħa has been, re-appointed Provincial Superior of the ‘Daughters of the Sacred Heart’. Sr Victoria joined the Congregation in 1979. After her first profession, she spent fourteen years in Kenya as a missionary. Later, for two years, she was part of the community in Ireland.

Sr Victoria, who is a qualified nurse, in collaboration with local Health Authorities volunteered to take swab tests and give the covid-19 vaccine to
most of Religious Congregations throughout Malta. Lately, she also followed a course in spiritual direction and Christian leadership. Before her first term of four years as a Provincial, she was provincial bursar for thirteen years.

Sr Victoria will be assisted in this post by Sr Valeriana Farrugia, Sr Antonia Buġeja, Sr Prassede Farrugia and Sr Ann Njinu. Sr Carolina Cassar was
appointed Provincial Bursar with Sr Isabella Cilia as her assistant.
