The Province of India St. Margaret Mary Alaque has held its 9 th Chapter from 26th December to 1st January 2024. The elected delegates from the different communities were present for the chapter. The chapter began with the day of recollection. Rt. Rev. Peter Parapullil the bishop of Jhansi offered the Holy Eucharist and in the homily he asked us to be receptive to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Thereafter we had the soul stirring talk by the Chancellor Fr. Ronald Telis. He enabled us to reflect and relive the charism in today’s context. In the evening organized holy hour was conducted on the theme of “Ready to be empowered by the power of the Holy Spirit” Acts 1: 6 – 11.

In an atmosphere of fraternity and joy, during the 9 th Provincial Chapter, the delegates studied and deepened the content of the theme, “RADICAL LIVING OF CHARISM IN TODAY’S CONTEXT”. We prayed, shared, discerned and took decisions. Looking back with gratitude for the achievements of the Province for the last four years and looking ahead with passion for Christ and zeal to embark new challenges in our ministries keeping in mind to the signs of time. Together we discerned where the spirit is leading us into the next four years. Coming together as one family DSH in spirit, Following the footsteps of our mother foundress cheerfully, Being receptive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit carefully, Quenching our thirst from the wellspring of the Heart of Jesus constantly, May we continue our spiritual journey winning many souls for CHRIST.
