On Monday 17th April, 2017, we, Daughters of the Sacred Heart celebrated the 94th anniversary of the death of our Foundress, Madre Maria Teresa Nuzzo.

A Mass was celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Trinity, in Marsa.

The celebrant was Monsignor Etienne Sciberras, the Postulator for the Cause of the Beatification of our Foundress.

Sr Leena Castellino, Vicar of Superior General, took an oath of office as the Vice Postulator of the same cause.

This ceremony has opened a year of activities in our Congregation to promote the Cause of the Beatification of our Foundress, The Servant of God, Maria Teresa Nuzzo.

DSH Sisters, Lay Associates and close friends attended, and were later treated with a small reception held in the premises of Sacred Heart Convent and Teresa Nuzzo School.
